This in-house version of Part 5 of our synchronous virtual workshops on “The Leadership Challenge” introduces participants to the fourth essential practice, “Enabling Others to Act,” that is, empowering others to build trust and respect among team members. This involves: 1) getting to know the people you work with; 2) providing them with the resources they need to succeed; and 3) demonstrating trust by letting them make their own decisions. Through individual and group exercises, participants discuss steps that they can take to help others identify potential areas for future growth and provide support for their efforts. The workshop content is applicable to leaders and high-potential individual contributors in most industries. |
