Designed for students using the CAMWorks 4/5 Axis simultaneous machining programming software to create toolpaths across complex shapes that could not be machined on 3 Axis machines. This class teaches you how to use CAMWorks to program 4/5 axis machines. Topics include Multi-Axis Machining and Drilling, Creating 5 Axis Toolpath and Impeller, 4 Axis Wrapped Features, Gouge Checking and Swarf Cutting. Course prerequisites include CNC and basic CAD knowledge along with SolidWorks CAM Standard Essentials / CAMWorks 2.5 Axis Milling training. Class is 21 hours total, either 3 days in-classroom or 6 days of 2.5-hour sessions online plus 6 hrs of exercises.
