This course teaches the participants the practical use of a fire extinguisher using the P.A.S.S. method, as well as the principles of fire science. This course is appropriate for everyone in the workplace because of the unpredictable nature of fire. Trainees will receive classroom and practical instruction, followed by live fire training evolutions using a fire simulator. This course will be held in-person. Course can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. *Note: employees that are legally required to take this training are not eligible to be included in employers' counts for Express reimbursement through the Workforce Training Fund.
