This course was designed for practical experience above and beyond a classroom training for workers that may have to respond to hazardous substance releases, or those who work at hazardous waste cleanup sites. Topics include PPE, identification of chemicals and hazards, implementation of the incident command system, and decontamination, This course will be held in-person over 3 days and includes lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises/demonstrations. Course can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. *Note: employees that are legally required to take this training are not eligible to be included in employers' counts for Express reimbursement through the Workforce Training Fund.
