In this course, participants will learn about Allyship and the key steps they can take within their workplace to step up as allies. The training will cover definition of key terms, offer tips for managing discomfort with conversations about race and other human differences, and present a model for healthy use of power. The participants will learn through in-person lectures and in-class activities. Taking this course will allow the participants to improve their understanding of what it means to be an ally, increase their ability to be comfortable with uncomfortable topics, and will provide them with key insights and action steps to support others. The ideal audience for this course is admin staff, managers, and interested professionals.
