Understanding Gender Equity provides participants with a foundation for learning and engaging in conversations about social identity, focusing on sexism and gender equity. Participants develop shared vocabulary and understanding of key concepts about gender and gender identity development, sexism, and frameworks that illustrate systems of inclusion and exclusion. Through small- and large-group discussions, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills such as self-reflection and active listening. We recommend this workshop for participants at all levels including executive leadership, managers, and individual contributors. Optional Conversation Toolkit add-on empowers participants to foster hard conversations.
