Regardless of industry or occupation, foundational digital literacy skills are necessary to excel professionally and personally. Upon completion of this accelerator, employees will be able to demonstrate basic computer skills, identify specific devices, use popular spreadsheet and word processing software, distinguish between browsers, apply best practices for online safety, draft an effective email, and interpret basic data. This program is designed to upskill any staff and prepare them for the Northstar certifications. It is instructor-led and includes the “Computers: One Click at a Time” workbook. Sessions will be held in-person and via Zoom with access to supplemental assignments in a user-friendly learning management system (LMS).
