Description:

This in-person course thoroughly introduces precision measurement. 6 areas of interest and concentration here: Tape and Rule, Calipers, Micrometers, Angles, Attribute gages, Thread gages, Dial gages, and Bore gages. Student will receive a thorough introduction to the equipment including full breakdown and maintenance of each piece of equipment, they will practice established handling protocols and be capable of fully itemized tool identification. Student will receive detailed explanation to aid in reading and interpretation of the measurement to a 100% accuracy level. Student will attempt 6 certification exams to demonstrate competency with precision measurement.
