In this course, participants will learn about plant-based nutrition, its role in boosting the immune system and preventing disease, and create flavorful dishes using a whole foods plant-based diet. The training will also cover superfoods and how they help reduce inflammation and keep us energized throughout the day. The participants will learn through online lectures and in-class activities. Taking this course will allow the participants to become more confident in promoting a plant-based diet, explain the benefits of a plant-based diet in staying healthy, productive, and energized, and create dishes that are highly nutritious and flavorful. The ideal audience for this course is restaurant workers, supervisors, and interested professionals.
