In this course, participants will learn practical skills for managing conflict and improving their workplace interactions and relationships. The training will cover common conflict-management strategies, ways to proactively identify potential areas of disagreement, listening with empathy, questions that aim to understand root causes of disagreement, and strategies for dealing with difficult people. The participants will learn through in-person lectures and in-class activities. Taking this course will increase the participants ability to deal with conflict, articulate desired outcomes and come to a mutual agreement to better working relationships. The ideal audience for this course is managers, supervisors, and interested professionals.
