This course is designed as a train the trainer course. In this course students will learn about the safety procedures required in operating a forklift. The training will cover the procedures involved in inspecting the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate, demonstration on how to safely operate the forklift, how to safely work around forklifts for both operators and non-operators, and how to properly store the forklift. Students will learn through lectures, in-class activities and demonstrations. Taking this course will enable the student to inspect, safely operate and properly store a forklift, and train others. The ideal audience for this course is supervisors and managers.
