This in-person course will help students with mechanical assembly, proper use of electronic hand and mechanical measuring tools (calipers and height gauge), and blueprint reading instructions. Participants will gain knowledge of orthographic projection principles, dimensioning and tolerances, interpretation of multi-view, section, and assembly drawings; numbering systems; drawing format; change control, and print control systems. This course will enhance employees’ understanding of assembly drawing notes (detailed instructions, torque specifications, epoxy application, sealing operation, marking details, environmental and testing requirements, and paint/plating/finish requirements). Ideal audience for this course is entry-level technicians
