This 3 credits course is part of the Dental Assisting program which allows students to be licensed as formally trained Registered Dental Assistants in Massachusetts upon completion. The course is an entirely synchronous online course to be taken concurrently with Concepts in Risks Management, Dental Radiology, Preclinical and Dental Assisting. This is an introductory course in dental morphology, occlusion, head and neck anatomy, oral embryology and histology. This course also provides laboratory exercises in dental morphology and head and neck anatomy. The ideal candidate for this course is an adult over 18, able to lift and carry 5 lbs, meet MA school immunization requirements, CORI and SORI checks, and is legally permitted to work. |
