Description:

This course is a 1 credit synchronous online course. It is part of the Dental Assisting certification program which grants graduates the formally trained Registered Dental Assistant licenses immediately after graduation. This course is taken concurrently with Dental Materials and Procedures, Dental Practice Management, Preventive Dentistry and Clinical Practicum. This course covers the basic principles of microbiology and oral pathology as they relate to dental pathologies. The ideal candidate for this course is an adult over 18, able to lift and carry 5 lbs, meet MA school immunization requirements, CORI and SORI checks, and is legally permitted to work. |
