This workshop gives a broad overview of the most relevant topics in food safety compliance. Covering the different regulations affecting the food and beverage industry, participants will come away from this bootcamp with working knowledge of topics such as: food safety hazards & pathogens, allergens, time & temperature controls, safe food storage, pests, sanitation, personal hygiene, and facility audits. This course will be held in-person and includes lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises/demonstrations. This training can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. *Note: employees that are legally required to take this training are not eligible for reimbursement through the Express Grant. |
