This course teaches participants all the basics of implementing and managing food safety programs in a warehouse and cold storage environment. This course applies to all employees working with or around food in a warehouse or cold storage facility. The streamlined course focuses on the five most relevant topics for this industry: inspecting, auditing, sanitation, pest control, receiving, storage, loading processes, and food defense. This course will be held in person and includes lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises and demonstrations. This training can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. Note, employees that are required to take this training are not eligible for reimbursement through the Grant
