In this course, participants will be introduced to basic English Language Skills for the workplace. They will increase their vocabulary, language comprehension and pronunciation. Focus of the course will be conversational English, basic grammar, and listening comprehension skills utilizing industry-specific language. The participants will learn through in-person lectures and in-class activities. Taking this course will allow the participants to develop confidence and improve their ability to state a position and support it, listen and follow multi-step instructions, read and understand some complex sentences and participate in social conversations. The ideal audience for this course is staff, managers, and interested professionals.
