Hybrid Training (online lecture + field practicum) for small landscape companies. Early pruning presents the unique opportunity to create healthy, strong architecture when trees are young. Attendees will learn how to select tree species that match natural habit with proposed function in the landscape, identify the markers of healthy tree architecture, identify and correct girdling roots, understand the nuances of pruning timing, choose appropriate tools and PPE, and make pruning cuts in accordance with the current ANSI A300 pruning standard, following the NATURAL pruning system.
