This course combines principles of Lean Six Sigma and Design of Experiments, emphasizes: critical thinking, reducing variability, defect rates, cost and cycle times. (a) Instructor-led/in-person. (b) Hands-on group activities using training device and software. (c) Certification requires a comprehensive exam, submitting qualifying project using tools learned. Participants learn to apply the best tools for a particular problem/question, which activities precede a DOE, testing strategies, such as screening, modeling, and confirmation, as well as basic graphical/statistical analysis of experimental data. Ideal audience is professionals tasked with creating, identifying, or improving processes and those who design/conduct tests or analyze data.
