This workshop intros “Flow” production and describes how creating cont. flow benefits customers and drives out significant waste. This class sets the stage for Just-in-Time production including a hands-on simulation contrasting batch/queue/cont.-flow production systems. Attendees get an overview of cellular production learning how to plan/implement a continuous flow work cell, including steps to design/establish flexible work cells from a selection of products that “flow” together to optimal layouts. Time will be spent setting up an actual continuous flow production line so that the learning has a real-world context and benefit. This class is held on-site and is impactful for all levels within the organization.
