In this 10 hour course, SLP's assigned to schools will: Learn how to create a plan of action to advocate, promote and facilitate access to communication, including the reduction of societal, cultural, and linguistic barriers. Practice differentiated supervision procedure to ensure clients receive maximum support. Identify administrative and leadership tasks vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Relate research to specific clients needs to develop a tailored care plan to support them. This course will consist of virtual, instructor led lectures, group discussions, presentations, and quiz.
