AS13100 includes requirements for embedding Human Factors within the Aero-Engine Supply Chain. Human Factors is a well-known and understood discipline in the Aerospace industry, particularly in Maintenance Repair & Overhaul and Flight Safety, but it has not been widely considered further down the supply chain in Production and Design. Through lecture and classroom activities, this workshop prepares individuals in the Aerospace industry to deliver AS13100 Human Factors mandatory requirements. Training includes an overview of AS13100 Human Factors Requirements, Embedding a Just Culture, Processes for Human Factors Management, risk reduction, and Human Factors Investigations and Training.
