The restaurant industry has long been spotty when it comes to labor compliance. Rules as simple as when breaks must be paid and when they can be unpaid are not well known by many in the industry. As a result, the idea of inadvertently violating employment law is a concern for leaders. In this course, the Prepshift team will review lawyer-approved labor compliance material with participants in order to deepen their understanding of employer and employee obligations. We will also discuss fair scheduling practices and other related labor management topics. This course is designed for W-2 business owners and managers. |
