Property managers will learn how to build and interpret an operating budget. We will cover multifamily property income sources and projections, and expenses such as operating, capital, and non-operating expenses like advertising. We’ll calculate the Net Operating Income for a multifamily property. Students will learn in person or virtual, led by a live instructor in a presentation and discussion. Students will see a sample Operating Budget Summary, Detail, and Rent Roll from a blinded 54-unit affordable housing property. This example will be given to all participants to have as either a reference or template for their own work. Taking this course will enable property managers to build an accurate budget, which is critical to their success.
