This course is for individuals interested in understanding how mental health issues impact the workplace & how to manage employees who need support.
This course will introduce how to define mental health, debunk common myths, identify symptoms in order to be able to spot signs of distress, discuss reasons why it is important to support mental health in the workplace, in particular with regards to how it can affect the business, & discuss ways to eliminate the stigma about it; improving communication on the topic; what the organization can do to support employees & who to contact for help. The course can be presented in person or virtually, and will be delivered through case studies, discussion, lecture, & power point. |
