This courses helps teams at nonprofit organizations build a shared understanding of social identity, power, and privilege and its impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at work. Course content covers topics such as social identity, power, privilege, oppression, bias, and subtle acts of exclusion (microagression). The course is available either in-person or through a live online session. The session includes 90 minutes of instruction, small group discussions, and group exercises. Participants must complete 30 mins of reading before the session and a 30-minute reflection activity after attending.
