This course is designed for lower-level employees for whom English is not their native language. It is typically taught on-site in two-hour sessions given 1-2 times per week to maximize retention. This course is for employees who need to speak English in their workplace. This course teaches participants English words and usage according to participants’ job responsibilities. Part 1 covers common terminology and usage in the areas of time and date, numbers, colors, greetings and common nouns and verbs. Upon completion of this course participants will increase their ability in speaking English; better understand and communicate, better follow instructions given in English; as well as increase their confidence and motivation.
