Days 7/8 of A 10 Leadership workshop. The overall objective of the program is to teach participants how to assess, build and strengthen both the individual skills as well as the team skills of a management team. The course can be delivered online or on-site and is best suited for managers, especially new ones with no prior experience. Days 7 and 8 focus on Emotional Intelligence. Research has shown that the most effective leaders are not those that have the highest IQ but those that have the highest EQ (Emotional Quotient). EQ is the understanding of our emotions and how they impact our work relationships. Such traits as identifying and expressing our emotions positively, assertiveness, positive outlook, etc. are all components of EQ.
