This intermediate level course assumes familiarity with the present, and past tenses and everyday vocabulary. Participants build on understanding the main point of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc and reinforces grammar covered in levels 1-4. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Understand the main points of clear texts in standard language if they are about topics with which they are familiar in a variety of contexts; produce coherent texts about familiar topics or in areas of personal interest; describe experiences, events, wishes and aspirations, and briefly justify opinions or explain plans. Course are held either online or in person. For in-person classes, workplace must be near Northampton.
