This course provides an awareness level overview of the major food safety topics entailed in HACCP regulations, such as: food hazards (microbial, physical, chemical, allergens), hazard analysis and control procedures, sanitation processes and best practices, auditing, and more. Participants will come away from the course with a broad set of food safety management competencies that will prepare them for working in a HACCP-regulated environment. This course will be held in-person and includes lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises/demonstrations. This training can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. Note: employees that are legally required to take this training are not eligible for reimbursement. |
