A two-day course with examples of the power of mistake-proofing processes, or POKA-YOKE. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of poka-yoke devices and learn a
methodology to identify and address mistake-proofing opportunities. Students will have a hands-on opportunity to explore how poka-yoke devices are
used to prevent or detect errors that could lead to defects. Some time is spent discussing how other techniques such as 5S and Visual Systems can include poka-yoke components. The class provides an excellent foundation for companies just considering poka-yoking their processes and provides many
specific improvement ideas that attendees can take away. It is held on-site or virtually and is appropriate for all levels in the company.
