In this course, participants will learn how to develop and write an effective Written Information Security Plan (WISP). It will cover the key components of a WISP including Information Classification, Risk Assessment, Security Policies & Procedures, Data Encryption, Incident Response Plan, Security Awareness, Physical Security & Legal and Regulatory Compliance. Instruction will be classroom. Participants will learn the current risks and detail the types of information their firm handles if there are any areas of potential data loss, and how to monitor and test these risks. The course is suitable for cyber security professionals who want to enhance their knowledge of WISP.
