Many restaurant businesses are so desperate to hire that the onboarding process – the critical early moments of an employee-employer relationship – is given minimal thought or ignored entirely. This missed opportunity fuels the negative feedback loop of high turnover and day-to-day chaos in small businesses. In this virtual or in-person session, the Prepshift team will walk through key components of a thoughtful onboarding process and provide templates for important documents and forms that build trust and rapport. Participants will learn to shift their perspective to that of a new hire and to create systems and processes to make onboarding feel cohesive and complete.
