This is a level one beginner ESOL course designed specifically for the restaurant business and its workers. Lessons are bilingual, some Spanish is spoken to enhance comprehension. The course curriculum is original and created to reflect the needs of restaurant workers. The lessons focus on beverage vocabulary including names for tools, equipment, spirits and other bar and restaurant related vocabulary and phrases. The course improves communication and comprehension through role plays featuring typical workplace scenarios related to beverage service and the needs of a bar and its staff. This is a virtual program; students will need a device that can support Zoom and consistent wi-fi. |
