Police, fire, and ems personnel suffer from catastrophic rates of insomnia, anxiety, addiction, divorce, and suicide. The over-activation of their nervous systems can be interpreted as PTSD. But no one knows what that means! Look up PTSD and there is no definition- just lists of symptoms. And if you ask any first responder why so many of them are so mentally unhealthy, they won't know what to say. Participants in this course will learn how to understand PTSD in a whole new way, and best of all, they will learn a method to prevent or even cure it. De-Adrenalization is very easy to grasp. First responders will be able to use it on each other to eliminate flashbacks, nightmares, etc. and remedy the aforementioned disorders.
